In a feasibility study, the processed data from the 3D seismic measurement campaign carried out specifically for the project in 2012 and accompanied by ERDWERK were interpreted from a structural geological perspective. A particular challenge was the depth conversion due to the lack of deep-reaching reference boreholes in the measurement area. A detailed reservoir model was created based on the geological model and refined by interpreting seismic attributes. Subsequently, bore path concepts were developed, taking into account surface restrictions in the choice of location and other specifications from the client. Drilling lengths of partly well over 6.000 m make the project a great technical challenge. Production temperatures of over 125°C can therefore be expected for the planned drilling targets.
